Step through the wardrobe into the magical land of Narnia! We are excited to announce open auditions for our upcoming production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Audition Details

• Dates: Monday, September 22nd OR Tuesday, September 23rd (Pick one date to attend)

• Time: 6:30 PM

• Location: St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Grants Pass, Oregon  1131 NE 10th St, Grants Pass, OR 97526

What to Prepare

• Format: Cold readings from sides provided at auditions. (No prepared monologue required!)

• Sides: Audition sides will be available online soon and and physical copies outside the box office and printed at the audition.

• Rehearsals Begin: First read through on September 28, 2026

• Show Runs: November 27 – December 20, 2026

Important Note for Parents

Parents of minor actors may be asked to help chaperone/volunteer in the green room during rehearsals and performances when needed. Further details will be shared at auditions.

Character Descriptions & Age Ranges

• Peter Pevensie (Age Range: 14–17) – The eldest sibling; brave and responsible, often takes the lead in battles against evil.

• Susan Pevensie (Age Range: 14–17) – The practical and nurturing sister; skilled with a bow and arrow, often acts as the voice of reason.

• Edmund Pevensie (Age Range: 11–14) – Initially a traitor, he undergoes significant character development, showcasing themes of redemption.

• Lucy Pevensie (Age Range: 8–11) – The youngest sibling; innocent and adventurous, she first discovers Narnia and befriends Aslan.

• Aslan (All Ages) – The noble lion representing good; embodies wisdom and sacrifice, pivotal to the story’s resolution.

• White Witch (All Ages) – An evil queen.

• Mr. & Mrs. Beaver, Unicorn, Centaur (All Ages) – Forest animals and magical creatures.

• Fenris Ulf (All Ages) – A wolf, head of the Witch’s secret police.

• Dwarf (All Ages) – A servant to the Witch.

• Father Christmas (All Ages) – A bringer of gifts.

• Elf (All Ages) – A helper to Father Christmas.

• White Stag (All Ages) – An elusive omen of good fortune.

• Aslan’s Followers (All Ages) – Forest animals and magical creatures.

• Witch’s Army (All Ages) – Evil villains.

(Note: Except for the Pevensie children, all other roles are open to performers of any age!)
