Summer Camp 2025
ART ATTACK! is a celebratory exploration of Art is all it’s many forms. It starts like a normal summer camp show, but we soon learn that we are in a world where making art is illegal, and the campers are putting on an underground show. Between scenes about Painting and Dance, the campers hide from the Art Police until a final heartwarming confrontation.
By painting, dancing, building props, and writing their own original scenes, the campers will be able to flex all of their different artistic muscles.
WHAT SKILLS WILL BE TAUGHT?
Acting, Stage Combat, Singing, Dancing, Stage Makeup, Juggling, Costumes, Set/Prop Design, Film Acting, Sound/Video Design, and Special FX tricks.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL BE GAINED?
Campers will gain the experience of building, rehearsing, and performing in an brand-new original play which will help them to develop confidence and creativity. They will also be given the opportunity to write/develop their own original scenes and take part in filming multi-media aspects of the show. Campers will also get to explore all the different design/tech elements of the production.
Beyond all of the production-based work, the campers will get plenty of summer camp experience: making new friends, scavenger hunts, and games to help them develop real-life skills of empathy, patience, and teamwork.
