hilarious misadventure into the community theatre world. Suddenly finding themself in charge of
a production of Cinderella, Salem decides that breaking free of stereotypes will get them high
marks in their classes. But will feminist Grace, cast as Cinderella, be able to rein in her feelings
about women’s rights. Or what about Parker, cast as a lead, who barely speaks above a whisper?
And what will happen when the original director finally returns for the opening night
performance? If only fairy godmothers were real because Salem could definitely use a little
magic to fix the mess they have made.
Georgia Walker (female presenting, 40-60) – motherly, very loving, auditioning for the Fairy
Godmother
Grace Hampton (female presenting, 20-30) – feminist, very opinionated, auditioning to do a show
with her girlfriend, Willow.
Noelle Harper (female presenting, 20-30) – very ditzy, often confused, should appear to be the
same age as Arden
Willow Lane (female presenting, 20-30) – a sweet, blonde ingénue, auditioning for the role of
Cinderella, dating Grace
Salem Thompson (any gender, 18-21) – very inexperienced, unsure, the assistant director who is
turned into the director
Arden Williams (male presenting, 20-30) – diva, constantly bragging, auditioning for the King,
since it is the biggest male part, should appear to be the same age as Noelle.
Luna Burton (female presenting, 20-30) – very dry humor, sarcastic, auditioning for the Evil
Stepmother
Parker Erickson (male presenting, 20-30) – exceptionally shy, has only played inanimate objects,
auditioning for the smallest male part, the Prince
